LACRIMA DI MORRO D’ALBA

Lacrima, indigenous clone of Morro d’Alba.
Very intense ruby red with purple reflections.
Very intense with hints of rose, violet and wild berries typical of Lacrima, evolved in ripe jam and with nuances of vanilla because of aging in wood.
Very smooth, intense and persistent body, with a neat and dry but not cloying sweetness. The right balance between the typical bitterness of Lacrima and the sweetness of a raisin wine.
Total withering with hanging grapes for about 4 months, followed by fermentation at controlled temperature, refinement for at least 3 years first in barriques then in tonneaux.
Bitter chocolate and dry sweets made of almond paste.
